Jason Schmitz - Author
Jason Schmitz is a SCUBA Instructor, Guide, and Photographer who currently lives in Denver, CO. He loves teaching new divers and taking trips all over the world. This debut book was inspired by the three years he spent working on dive boats off the Island of Maui. It is the goal of this book to introduce young divers-to-be to the wonders of those dive sites and encourage them to explore the wonderful underwater world.
Thamires Harvey - Illustrator
Thamires Harvey is an artist and muralist from Brazil who has been living in Washington since 2018 and started her artistic journey in 2021. With a portfolio of over 16 vibrant murals, she now brings her unique artistic vision to the world of children’s book illustration. Her aim is to captivate young readers with vivid glimpses of characters, settings, and emotions that enrich the stories she illustrates.
